- The reverse osmosis membrane acts as a barrier to all dissolved salts and inorganic molecules.
- Rejection of dissolved salts is typically 95% to greater than 99%.
- Applications for RO are numerous and varied, and include sea water, brackish water, food and beverage.
- Freshwater Systems use a TFC Membrane (thin film composite).
- Membrane consists of three layers, polyester support web, a microporious polysufphone interlayer and an ultra thin barrier layer on the top surface.
- TFC elements give excellent performance for a wide variety of applications.
